This steel container features two compartments: 40% for waste and 60% for recycling, making it perfect for tight spaces. A sturdy latch mechanism releases one compartment while preventing the other from emptying during collection. *Also available with 60% waste | 40% recycling compartment ratios.

Description

DURABAC THE INVENTOR of the two-compartment container

This steel container features two compartments: 40% for waste and 60% for recycling. During collection, a sturdy latch mechanism releases one compartment while preventing the emptying of the other, ensuring materials do not mix.

Also available in different compartment proportions.
Model CDR-4060 (40% waste / 60% recycling)
Model CDR-6040 (60% waste / 40% recycling)
Model CDR-5050 (50% waste / 50% recycling)

BENEFITS:

The mechanism, activated by the forks of a front-loading truck, requires no truck modification. The garbage collector doesn’t have to leave the truck to lock or unlock any compartments; everything is done automatically and very quickly. Saves space and operational time. Savings on purchasing 1 container instead of 2. Increases participation in recycling.

This combined 2-in-1 container is ideal for confined spaces, such as multi-housing residences, industries, businesses, and institutions (I.C.I).

Available in 4, 6, 8 & 10 cubic yards.

FACING THE CONTAINER: 40 % WASTE LOCATED ON THE DRIVER SIDE/ 60 % RECYCLING LOCATED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE

12 gage steel outside walls and inside separation wall.
10 ga steel floor with profiled full floor length capped bottom channels.
3/16″ side pockets.
(2) 14 gage steel lids with polyethylene sliding access door.
Swivel lock – release mechanism to select the opening of one compartment at a time for dumping.

FINISH:

Degreasing of the surfaces and a complete high pressure steam wash.
(1) Coat of industrial primer 1.5 mil dry.
(2) Coats of industrial enamel 1.5 mil dry.
Color: customer’s choice (standard painted 1 color)

Compartment Identification: waste logo 16″ x 18″ and recycling logo 16″ x 18″.
Identification on how to open – close each compartment.
No parking decal 6″ x 6″.
