During the 22nd Construction ReCycle Congress on February 13 and 14 at the Centrexpo Cogeco in Drummondville, DURABAC won the RECYC-QUEBEC VISION INNOVATION AWARD 2019.
Presented by the 3R MCDQ, this award highlights Durabac’s innovative achievements, which have significantly and sustainably increased productivity and promoted a promising initiative for the CRD sector.
The in-house welder training program has had a positive impact on the company. It offers employees or selected candidates the opportunity to learn the basics of welding without returning to school. This training, provided by an accredited instructor, allows apprentices to be paid while learning a new trade.
A third cohort is expected to start in 2019.
