Durabac, a leading manufacturer of waste collection equipment, is pleased to announce the near completion of its expansion project. This new expansion will significantly increase the company’s production capacity, particularly for the manufacturing of: Waste collection bodies, Roll-off systems and trailers & Hooklift systems and trailers.
Increased Production and New Products
The 23 000 square foot expansion will allow the Duralift and Chagnon divisions to double their production capacity. In addition to optimizing its operations, Durabac will be able to increase its efficiency through the use of new technological equipment. The company will also be able to launch new products, such as a front-load refuse bodie for commercial container collection.
Job Creation
Durabac plans to create 20 new jobs as a result of the expansion, adding to the 160 employees already working in Granby.
